Snore

Amazon Customer, Amazon
12 May 2015
  • Summary: Dull. Repetitive. Live fast and die hard. You get very little chance to enjoy weapons as they quickly exhaust themselves of ammunition. Extending your life with armor: Only by a shot or two, then death. Armor does not extend you the protection one would hope for.

Good game but very buggy!

Nathaniel Baldwin "NathanielMutt", Amazon
20 June 2014
  • Summary: Doing a quick internet search will serve up an impressive list of problems with this particular version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game CANNOT be installed to the Xbox 360's hard drive and thus requires disc swapping and of course spinning.

Stick with the Original Release

D. Frost, Amazon
11 June 2014
  • Summary: This review is for the "Directors Cut" not for the excellent original release. If you want to play Deus Ex the best option is to pick up the original game. Just grab and old copy or get the game on demand when its on sale. Don't bother with this "Directors" cut.

The game crashes so much, it should be called "Director's Crash"

vespafive, Amazon
1 May 2014
  • Summary: I thought buying the Director's Cut would give me a great incentive to play the game again. Unfortunately, those who previously owned the original version of this game know that the loading screens are torturous. You can relieve some of that torture by downloading the game to your 360's hard drive.

  • Summary: Like the additional stuff. Love the hard work put into the game the team did and excellent job with the Dues ex reboot. Director's Cut? Extra stuff?

DodgeBall, Amazon
23 December 2013
  • Summary: There will be a couple of extra weapons, but not much else. No extra bio-mods. Gameplay is exactly the same, towards the end you get a little more. (very little) The "re-worked boss fights" just give you a couple of places to go run and hide.

User Review

Pandarve, Metacritic
21 July 2012
  • Summary: Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link forces the player back into a story he had already thought to have wrapped up using a more condensed form of gameplay than what he was used to in DE:HR. Fewer guns, more firefights and a lot of nagging about how killing is wrong.

Fulltimer, Walmart
18 October 2011
  • Summary: I haven't been able to stick with the game to finish it. It is boring. The game engine is clunky to me and nothing seem's intuitive. The upgrades to armor, weapons, etc. are complicated and success in the game relies heavily on stealth.

Evan the great., Amazon
26 December 2011
  • Summary: At present this game cannot be installed to the hard drive because their is no option to do so, meaning very long load times and runs risk of the xbox over heating. i have both the original version and this so called directors cut, the directors cut version suffers from pop ups meaning you enter a...
