Summary: This "game" will have a distinguished place in history for me as being 1 of the only 2 games I have ever put into a console and simply could not play it, the other being Game Party: In Motion (a Kinect game in which we couldn't get past the main menu). I would also compare it to Sims3 -- a game I suggest EA rename "LOADING" because that's most of what the game did (on the console version).
Summary: First the good...........The soundtrack is awesome. Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica) does an excellent job of creating music to kill by. Waypoints in this game are also done right. The Vehicles are also pretty cool. That is all the good. The Bad........ Buggy as all get out. Bugs in the game 5 months ago are still in the game. Some so game breaking that not only does it crash the game it can also crash your console.
Summary: Defiance is first person shooter (FPS) with a Massively Multi-player Online (MMO) component. It has four basic parts; a single player FPS story mode, an open world MMO mode, a co-op map mode, and a player vs player (PvP). I do not recommend this game. After completing the very short and poorly done single player story line, with the worst boss fight ever, your motivation is to accrue EGO (aka experience points) to buy Perks (aka power buffs) for your character.
Summary: I picked up this game months after release, and I'm frustrated to say that it's still completely broken. I've started the game 8 times, each time with different characters, before/after restarting the console,.. I've tried everything. It crashes at the end of the first chapter (aka, when you're supposed to start the game), and when you log back in, all of your items are gone and end up in an empty world.
Summary: From day one the game was already full cheats and hackers - yeah the kids know where to find them or buy them to ruin the game for others - the play is jerky the graphics mediocre and the story line dull. Pass it by.
