but it is fun to play

Summary: I played this game for about an hour with my friend. It wasn't as polished as other games, but it is fun to play. If anything, you're paying for a game that will entertain guests for a short time before moving on.
Summary: Deadliest Warrior isn't a Tekken, Mortal Kombat or any other fighting franchise you've played, and that's okay. It's a cheap game, you're not or shouldn't be expecting something groundbreaking.
Summary: As an arcade release, I was never interested in this game. Fighting games are not my forte. Once I saw that it was a full disc release, the collector in me wanted to add this to my wall. I am not a fan of fighting games because I suck at memorizing fight patterns, move lists, and combos.
Summary: As a real fighting game experience, Deadliest Warrior is a mess. It's shallow, favoring spectacle over substance, and the spectacle isn't even that great. Battles are won and lost seemingly at random.
Summary: Take into consideration that this is actually 2 Different games on one disk! Deadliest Warrior: The Game, and DW: Ancient Legends. If you already have the XBLA versions you may want to skip over this.
Summary: I bought this game on an impulse at Target. I noticed that on the back it mentioned that ninjas could fight pirates, Spartans could fight apache warriors, etc. I mentioned this to my girlfriend. When she said "hey, that sounds pretty sweet, you should get it so we can play," I thought..
