but it is fun to play

Yzael, Amazon

  • Summary: I played this game for about an hour with my friend. It wasn't as polished as other games, but it is fun to play. If anything, you're paying for a game that will entertain guests for a short time before moving on.

  • Summary: Both downloadable games plus the DLC. Good deal for those who plan to get the game since this disc is the same price as downloading one of the DW games.

  • Summary: This game is awesome. I wish they would have kept this game series going. The warriors are very accurately represented with appropriate weapons and armor.

A fun game, for the price

Amazon Customer, Amazon
18 June 2013
  • Summary: Deadliest Warrior isn't a Tekken, Mortal Kombat or any other fighting franchise you've played, and that's okay. It's a cheap game, you're not or shouldn't be expecting something groundbreaking. I added it as a filler for an order for free shipping because it was only $9, and I've not been disappointed. It's a generic fighter that comes with 6 episodes of the TV Show, It's campy, the loading times are a bit above average, and you can one hit kill your opponent at times.

Fun game - buy at low price

ReToM7 "Patrick", Amazon
7 January 2013
  • Summary: As an arcade release, I was never interested in this game. Fighting games are not my forte. Once I saw that it was a full disc release, the collector in me wanted to add this to my wall. I am not a fan of fighting games because I suck at memorizing fight patterns, move lists, and combos. That said, this game is a fun addition to my collection. The graphics and physics are solid.

Perfectly captures the spirit of the show.

Michael Mishey, Amazon
10 December 2012
  • Summary: As a real fighting game experience, Deadliest Warrior is a mess. It's shallow, favoring spectacle over substance, and the spectacle isn't even that great. Battles are won and lost seemingly at random. If someone you respect happens to walk into the room while you're playing Deadliest Warrior, you will experience a deep and lasting shame.

  • Summary: I liked the new characters and their moves. I do miss the Pirate and Ninja in the first game they made. If they ever combine them it will be a hit !!

Before You Buy!

InvaderJay, Amazon
24 May 2012
  • Summary: Take into consideration that this is actually 2 Different games on one disk! Deadliest Warrior: The Game, and DW: Ancient Legends. If you already have the XBLA versions you may want to skip over this. I originally believed it to be a crossover between both games, allowing for more character matchups (much like Naruto Storm Generations). THIS IS NOT THE CASE!

Not Bushido Blade Two, but still pretty awesome

One More Time, Amazon
23 April 2012
  • Summary: I bought this game on an impulse at Target. I noticed that on the back it mentioned that ninjas could fight pirates, Spartans could fight apache warriors, etc. I mentioned this to my girlfriend. When she said "hey, that sounds pretty sweet, you should get it so we can play," I thought...what the hell. I have to say, this game is 30 dollars well spent. The battles are fast and furious, sometimes only four to five seconds long.

netter Zeitvertreib

Mausi, Amazon
23 June 2013
