Summary: the game play is slow & it takes a long time to finish a season, but guess what, so does the real thing. This is more of a simulator, where the game play is slow but it's the simulation that makes it fun.
Summary: Ok, so I finally broke down and ordered Alaskan storm on amazon. After reading the reviews, I have to say I was a little wary ordering the game, and I'm a HUGE fan. So I ordered it, and after going through the training and starting my career, I've noticed that this game is everything I expected or...
Summary: I baught this game a few days ago and have been playing it off and on. This is a very interesting sim, and something original. I was looking for a fishing type game but this is so much more. Having complete control over where you fish, baiting, your crew, areas to fish...
Summary: This is a pretty good simulation of the show. Casual fishing fans or casual fans of the show should probably avoid this game, but for hardcore fans this is probably as close a simulation as you are going to get without going out on a boat yourself.
If you're a fan of the show and always wanted to play a game of it, this is your chance!

Summary: Look, I'll be honest. This isn't the most graphically advanced game in the world (in fact, it's been likened to that of a PS2 game) and it's not the most action packed. BUT, if you would like to play a game that's accurate to the Discovery Channel show and the lives of the men who are on it then...
Summary: Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm is a slow paced simulation game as you captain a crab fishing vessel in the Bering Sea. This game was made in 2008, so in relativness to the time it came out it has average graphics. The actions and diolouge are kind of vague, but the game is enjoyable.
Summary: Ok, after reading a few of the other reviews on this game, I must say that some make good points, and some state their own harsh opinions on the game itself. Myself, I love this game, its fun to me, and its enjoyable at the most.
Summary: Surprisingly decent game. Overal design and gameplay (strategy + simulation) are pretty good. Manual is aweful, but the tutorials teach you nearly everything you need (except how to get back to a port). Sound is average. Water physics are excellent.
