Summary: I love dead space. I've put around 70 hours into this game and have encountered quite a few flaws though. The hardcore gamemode, where every time you die you must restart completely, is not worth even reading the description of. Me and a friend decided to give it a try and it lasted 17 minutes. Lack of skill isn't what had us restart.
The story sucked. The game play was below average. Bleh.

Summary: I played and enjoyed the first two Dead Space games in the series. I was excited when I saw the trailer for Dead Space 3 and hurriedly bought it when I had the chance. How disappointing. The story was horrible, in fact I could even go as far as saying "what story?". It was continues killing of necros. The game play was boring, and repetitive.
Summary: Seriously I loved Dead Space and Dead Space 2 they were single player, the way I like survival horror adding coop takes away that scary feeling of knowing that knowbody can save you. You are alone and anything can happen. Even with the option of playing by yourself you still know that Dead space 3 was meant for coop and you feel like you are missing out if you play by yourself.
Summary: Dead space is reknowned for its atmosphere, sense of isolation, horrific anticipation and engaging storyline. Unfortunately very little of these are present in Dead Space 3. Instead we are presented with an average shooter patched with 2 player co-op and unncessary custom weapon building that really adds nothing to the game as a whole.
Summary: I haven't played it all the way through but so far it seems identical to the
previous games if you're playing it alone. No companion in single player. These games depend heavily on scares and atmosphere. If you don't find games
scary and the atmosphere loses it's lustre after a few hours then it becomes
quite boring. A monotonous, linear, occasionally frustrating plod. Blowing apart necromorphs is fun at first but it gets old before long.
