Summary: I remember playing this with a friend for a little bit when it first came out and I had a great time killing the zombies. So recently I was looking for a cheap game to buy and this came to mind. For the first 2-3 hours of game play, I remembered why I enjoyed the game. However, once you've killed zombies every which way there is after the first few hours, you find yourself with a rather boring and monotonous game.
Summary: Well, the price was low, the delivery fast, and the fights fun. The problem is that there is one save slot, saving your game is a hassle, and if you miss a major mission or die, you get sent back to your last save point. Progress is relatively slow and missions complicate the game so much there is little zombie fighting time. I didn't like the game and got bored fairly quickly. Again, the violence was good and the weapons interesting but still too many problems.
Summary: First off, I love killing zombies. Capcom has given us a lot of reasons to like killing them, and this game branches off into a whole new battle system, which is much appreciated. I had high hopes for this game when I heard about it, and when I finally got it, here is what I found. BIGGEST DRAWBACK! The missions, as they come to you, appear as text ONLY on your screen. And brothers and sisters, this text is TINY.
frustrating bosses almost destroy an amazing experience

Summary: From the time you start a new game on Dead Rising, you see the cinematic camera angles and great voice acting, you know they put some time into this one. the game controls like any third person action game. the left stick is for character movement, and the right controls your camera. i just wish jumping and attacks weren't so sluggish.
If you don't have a high def. TV forget Dead Rising!!

Summary: DEAD RISING.............is Surprisingly DEAD!!!! Read review to find out why! Well, well, well......what can I say about Dead Rising? First off I want to say that I desperately really wanted to love this game. I really really wanted to like it and play it and I gave it as much of a chance I could. Let me say when I first put this game in and turned it on, I was amazed!!
Summary: Being a fan of Zombie flicks and the "Resident Evil" francise I naturally thought "dead Rising" would be a great game to pick up. It turns out that in essence I was right. Dead Rising is driven by a classic plot, numerous and humorous ways to dispose of your undead foes, and enough quests to keep you playing. But unfortunately I've never played a game that showed so much promise yet be so riddled with problems. First, If you don't own an HDTV you're out of luck.
Summary: I purchased this game with high hopes from the Demo. While it does look good, it's a game I can only play for about an hour at a time. It's quite repetitive but that's not all bad, it's pretty fun for a while, just need to take breaks from it. This game is not much fun in Standard Def. I switched from Standard to HD, you can't read all of the text in Standard def. from ingame phone calls, to tell you what to do. Without multiplayer this game is lacking.
Summary: Dead Rising - Circa 2006 GOOD: - Use anything as a weapon, never before has this been truly done or done right in a video game, and when I say use anything as a weapon I truly mean it, from Frying Pans to Chainsaws and Hangers to Battleaxes you really have anything in the entire mall as a weapon, there are thousands of items you can use and that is not including your regular video game type of weapons like guns and swords.
