Conclusion: Have you ever broken your knees and elbows and tried to play basketball? Well if you have, then you'd love this game. The game is absolutely brutally broken. There is zero fun in this game, and it just seems that EA pooped this one out without trying to fix it's issues. Granted the standard game play of NBA Live, using the right stick to perform moves, is still enjoyable. However, a lot of the different moves have been removed from the past. I don't know why.
Summary: First off, let me begin by stating that I am a HUGE resident evil and Capcom fan. When I purchased this game I wasn't expecting RE 5 but at least something to keep my busy for a while (a few weeks at least). But to my surprise... Pros: Not mind blowing but pretty good graphics, Being able to hack and kill zombies with pretty much anything you can pickup was pretty cool but it gets old in about 30 minutes.
Summary: Good concept, the gameplay is fun...the save system...or lack thereof, really brings this game down. It is very hard to find save points, so if you die, plan on replaying a big chunk of the game over again...if you die again, replay again....yeah, really annoying. Then, it's really great when you haven't (can't) saved in a while, just completed a hard sequence, then while trying to find a save point, the doors are locked, won't move and then you find this hallway where...
Conclusion: I don't usually bother reviewing games but most of my friends on xbox360 have not bought this game because they have been advised not to! One gamer (who has a score of over 14,000) said that this is the worse game in his library. I can afford to buy it, so I did. I'm afraid I must agree. The concept is good, the graphics are good but the save feature ermmmmmmmm sucks. You end up repeating things time after time until you are completely frustrated.
Summary: I thought I'd love coming face to face with an army of flesheating zombies. But sadly I was severely disappointed with this game. Loading... The premise and glowing reviews lead me to conclude that the game would be a lot of fun - but after spending several hours with it I was left bored and irritated. Loading...
Conclusion: There is a lot of hype surrounding this game but the fact is, and anyone who plays this game to its end can tell you, this game is extremely broken. Small text will make the game nigh unplayable for SDTV users. The broken save system, combined with the strict time limits in the game, will make many a game unplayable and force you to restart your game from the beginning.
Summary: First off, as many other reviews have noted, the game text is unreadable due to its small size unless you have an HDTV. Perhaps Capcom will offer a patch via Live, but until then the game is largely unplayable. And, even though it's a lot of fun to kill zombies with random stuff, the game sucks anyway.
Summary: Let's take a killer concept (hundreds of zombies in a shopping mall) and some great weapons (literally grab ANYTHING you can reach to kill the undead) and completely ruin it with bad game mechanics. That's "Dead Rising" to a "T"! The game is saddled with unrealistic bosses, ridiculous deadlines, a constantly-ringing communicator, and no real time to just explore and take full advantage of the incredibly rich environment that Capcom has developed.
