Summary: Off the Record has content that should be in all of the other Dead Rising games, like the Sandbox Mode. Unfortunately, this game wasn't properly upgraded to be a re-make; frame rate drops will sap out the flow of combat, load times will annoy you, and like the first Dead Rising, your character is...
Summary: Taking a picture with a zombie whilst your co-op buddy is puking in the background. priceless! Absolutely loved this game, it was just so much fun. Twice the fun with a co-op partner! Mowing down zombies with a kids bike, thanks Capcom, you really do know how to treat me!
Summary: if you like Dead Rising 2 mechanics and Dead Rising 1 photoshoot which I don't then you'll love this. Imagine like playing Resident Evil for PS1 and for Gamecube, same environment and feel but incredibly different play.
Summary: I want to love this game but I can't because the timer system sucks. There's NO TIME. Literally. There's tons of side missions/people to save but there is no time at all to get to them. You need to do main missions and keep finding antidote to your zombie disease.
Summary: You may have noticed that this review (which will most likely end up being much shorter than the norm you may have grown semi-accustomed to from myself) is not about Dead Rising 2 by itself, but instead the more recent and updated edition of the game- Off the Record.
Summary: There may not be loads added, but considering the budget price it is worth picking up, if only just to play as Frank West again. And the inclusion of the sandbox mode makes Dead Rising 2: Off the Record more than just a retread.
