About
20 March 2015
  • Summary: Red Dead Redemption is an Old West-themed sandbox game where you'll ask yourself multiple times while you play "I wonder if I can do this ...", referring to some specific clichéd "Western" action, and more often than not you can.

Red Dead Redemption

True achievements
2 February 2011
  • Conclusion: But the great story and the acting really increase the overall experience. This game had huge potential for me but it did not hold up to the hype. As I noticed everyone else gave this game top scores but I cant. 3/6 for Good Game wich is how much one enjoyed playing the game.

Review: Red Dead Redemption (Xbox 360)

Diehard GameFAN
21 January 2011
  • Summary: Calling Red Dead Redemption a Grand Theft Auto clone does the game a huge injustice. It’s far more than that. It’s an incredibly well polished title that manages to hold its head above water in an increasingly flooded market of open world action games.

  • Summary: It takes a special kind of game to pull off a zombie apocalypse.  Just imagine the response if Super Mario Galaxy or Metal Gear Solid offered a downloadable campaign full of smelly undead brain-eaters.  Yet the infusion of zombies feels perfectly natural in the world of Red Dead Redemption.

  • Summary: Red Dead Redemption is more than a great western, it's the first time this type of game has been successfully recreated for a home game console. Others have tried, but nobody has been able to offer a world as compelling as Rockstar Games.

Red Dead Redemption Review

AtomicGamer
2 June 2010
  • Excerpt: There's been lots of talk lately about Rockstar Game's open-world, gun-slinging adventure Red Dead Redemption finally getting the Old West genre “right.” As I'm about to reveal in this review, it's easily the best take ever, not to mention my favorite game of the year thus far.
