Hitman: Blood Money Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: With a bit more work refining the inventory and A.I. systems, and additional QA testing, Hitman: Blood Money would easily be one of my top three Xbox 360 games at the moment. The game’s basic concept, and IO’s commitment to give gamers a multiple paths to an ending while still pushing for “transparency” should be applauded. But a two year 47 hiatus and no real signs of an inventory system or A.I. improvement hurts like a 7.62mm round to the spleen.

Dead or Alive 4 review (X360)

HonestGamers
12 October 2008
  • Excerpt: Things haven’t changed a lot, so much as been refined, the fourth time ‘round. The usual suspects are on offer: Ninja Gaiden’s Ryu Hayabusa, the super ninja; Kasumi, the sexy ninja

Dead or Alive 4 Review

IGN Entertainment
9 February 2008
  • Conclusion: Put simply, Dead or Alive 4 is the best fighter Team Ninja has ever put together and it is easily the best looking game to play on the Xbox 360 in it’s early stages. If this game is any indication of what’s to come, we are in for some mind blowing experiences in the coming year. Anyone who considers themselves a fan of the fighter genre must pick up a copy of Dead or Alive 4 .

Expert Review

Inside Hotwire 3D

  • Conclusion: To top off the incredible graphics are the great sound effects. The game has you believing that every hit is very painful such as smashing a character into a wall, for example. You could just feel bones crushing. Tecmo, the developer, really put a heavy emphasis on punches and kicks that create an image of physical force to the action. The game’s voice-over works are great, too!

Dead or Alive 4 Review

DreamStation.cc
7 July 2006
  • Conclusion: Dead or Alive 4 delivers a fun multiplayer experience and a challenging single player story mode. Gameplay delivers as well, creating a very balanced game with room for both new players and veterans alike. This is the kind of game that really shines through Xbox Live, though there are issues with lag when it comes to rooms with more than four players.

Dead or Alive 4 Review

Strategy Gaming Online
31 December 2005
  • Excerpt: Dead or Alive 4 should have launched along with the Xbox 360. It's got exactly what Microsoft wanted to deliver, in fast action and an excellent online community. Oh, right - we're talking about a fighting game, and one that many enthusiasts of this genre (which is quickly becoming a niche, much like flight simulators) have been turning their noses up at for years.

Beautiful And Bouncy

Britxbox
21 July 2007
  • Conclusion: Dead or Alive 3 was a launch title for the original Xbox and marked the start of a relationship between Microsoft and Team Ninja that spawned Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive Ultimate, all of which are on the best looking Xbox games list. It was a no-brainer that Dead or Alive 4 would be on the 360. Originally intended as a day one title, it slipped a couple of months for that last spit and polish. But now it's here, huge boobs and all.

Dead or Alive 4

one-gamer.com
22 April 2007
  • Conclusion: It may seem like nothing’s changed at first but on closer inspection you’ll see that DOA has burst out its training bra and into a fully-fledged Wonderbra. The fighting has grown up, with a much more sophisticated, yet annoying, counter system plus the environments now play a bigger part in scraps. We would have liked to seen some more improvements with the character models but generally this is a very competent package that has something for everyone.
