Summary: I have 100+ Xbox 360 games and this one is just not great. It has fun moments and a few unique ideas that are good, but it never felt smooth or intuitive. When I look at my collection to see what I want to play I would occasionally begrudgingly pick this one just so I could finish it. I do NOT think this is a BAD game, but I could never get over the feeling that it could have been better.
Not bad, but probably won't play too much of it again.

Summary: This is a pretty fun game if you have a group of friends to play it with, but will lose its' luster quickly after completing it the first time through. As far as the enemies are concerned, there generally isn't a whole lot of variety (I suppose the argument could be made that there is quite a bit of variety as far as zombies go, but I don't feel there is enough as far as video games go in general).
Summary: I didnt really like this game, the open world idea didn't work that well in my opinion. The story didn't touch me or anything andI really hated those secondary misions and stuff, you have to go from one side of the island to another end all the time!
Summary: Im pretty tough when it comes to rating games so keep that in mind. Awesome graphics and animations but too much taking Gods name in vain...come on do I use your mothers name instead of a curse word or your fathers?? Don't use my Gods name! Other than that just too repetitive not enough side quests that matter. Get skyrim or fallout instead.
Summary: I disagree with the Game of the Year honor that this games has received. Not that Dead Island is a bad game, just that so many games of much higher quality were released in 2011. (Deus Ex, Halo Reach, Batman Arkham City) Beating out competition like that leaves me wondering what the criteria for winning that award is... It's an average game, but for evert bit of creativity and inventiveness that went into Dead Island are dragged down by quite a few problems.
Summary: The game was seriously a huge disappointment ... for me at least. I thought the graphics looked great but aside from that it was extremely bland and slow. And don't even get me started on how often you will "Die", the sounds were really bland and I was disappointed with the clunky controls, I was playing on a brand new system and I literally only played for a day before I put it down and I haven't played it since.
Summary: Probably one of the best trailers I have ever seen for a game. The game itself was full of glitches from day one. It felt rushed. Every now and then I think about popping this in the X Box and I never do. It was an ok game. Plus I hate the idea that zombies don't die from one headshot.
Summary: This game puts you on an island where your character is "immune" to becoming a zombie. You never really understand why... Playing through the game is... Different. the world isn't very large and you will get to know it well. With that being said, the scenery is beautiful. The story never really captivated me like it has in other zombie games such as "Dead Rising" and it was never quite as intense as "Left 4 Dead".
