Summary: I just bought this a few weeks ago, and its a very good game, the story is great i hope they continue the series. In this game you play as 1 out of the 4 horsemen, War, in this game you cross hard but fun situations, such as boss fights, there are main boss fights and small boss fights, i really like the main boss fights because there are harder that anything else, and it really gives you a nice challenge, i hope you find this useful!
Summary: this game is by far one of my all time favorites. If you like or know how legend of zelda works same thing except... it balls to the wall more awesome you slay deamons (yes that is correct spelling) find items a just well fight the destroyer and kick some serious Butt
Summary: Darksiders is a game with a lot of variety, from puzzle solving to mini arcade challenges darksiders has it all. Along with the variety comes some influences from other games the combat is like God of War and the puzzles and hub world remind me of The Legend of Zelda. Which doesn't make darksiders an original game, but with all of the fun your having it more than makes up for the tiny lack of innovation.
Summary: I love this game. The graphics are great, the story is straightforward yet compelling, the combat is amazing, and the puzzles are challenging. Darksiders is a terrific game and a blast to play. All of the negative comments seem to be based on the fact that it is like "Prince of Persia, with elements of Zelda and God of War mixed in" or something to that effect.
Summary: Darksiders was probably one of the first games I've enjoyed in a while since it incorporated many mechanics from other games. God of war, Zelda, and even portal. (Which by the way, I found hilarious to be running around with a portal gun in a post-apocalyptic game.) Although the game is based off these games, it has it's own unique play style which requires puzzling, fast paced destruction of your enemies, and even thinking around.
Summary: I loved this game a lot. The graphics and combat were great and the story was pretty cool. I liked upgrading my weapons and learning new and awesome combos to pull off. If you are a fan of puzzle ridden dungeons ala Zelda you will love this game as well.
Summary: When I bought this game originally I had gone into a Gamestop on a boring Saturday just looking for something to play. I stumbled upon Darksiders, after reading the synopsis I decided to give it a shot. Best random game purchase of my life. Immediately the game sucked me in, and didn't let go until I had played the entire game over the rest of the weekend. Another review said it is like "If God of War and Legend of Zelda had a baby" pretty much describes it perfectly.
Summary: Gameplay: So first of all The gameplay was amazing in ways yet annoying in ways. Amazing enemies, awesome plot (yet always alittle confusing) and epic characters. but there was some not so awesome things. the SUPER LARGE amount of puzzles were fun until i was sitting on my couch til 3 in the morning redirecting blue beams. Graphics: Fantastic animation but lots of glitches and freezing.
