Summary: I think we all have mixed feelings for this game. It was like resident evil, wait but better.... or not.. This game was wierd but had a great story. The shooting wasnt great but niether was resident evil. But yet resident evil has a better story....or not. Like i said these ar mixed feeling that we all are thinking of. Anyways pick this up for yourself. Your going to be confused but your $3 dollars will not be wasted.
Summary: If I was going off of price compared to gameplay, I would have to give this game a 10/10, but that would be unfair so I won't. This game is a solid third person shooter with a pretty good variety of weapons along with a cool weapon called the Glaive, which can be thrown at you enemies and it returns to you like a boomerang.
Summary: The gameplay is really fun, and at times is actually pretty challenging. The graphics are superb, as is the music. This game is in the dark style of the Condemned series, the locations are often similar to those in Metro 2033, and the music at times is similar to that of Resident Evil 5, all of which are great! The AI is okay, and actually knows when to hide and when to shoot, though is almost impossible to sneak up on them until later in the game.
Summary: Dark Sector was a decent game, but I didn't get attacted to any of the characters or anything. The weapons are alright, the glaive is kinda cool, and the story is ok. That's what this game is....just ok. But come on. It's $5. If you want to kill 8-10 hours, buy this game. It's easily worth $5. I'd say its worth....$15. Yeah.
Summary: This game has some interesting aspects to it. Such as your main weapon (the Glaive) and taking the point of view of someone who is not only fighting infected, but also becoming one and the upgrades and cool powers you receive throughout the game. However, the story isn't overly original, and there are definitely mechanics taken from other games (such as the cover mechanic). But this doesn't mean it's just another rip off.
