Summary: I realize that not every shooter can be Halo. They don't all have to be Games of the Year, just simple and fast-paced fun. That being said, Darkest of Days has as much chance of winning an award as I do of finishing its excruciating campaign. If not for the XBOX 360 name on the top, it would be hard to call this bargain bin reject a game.
Summary: If the curiosity is more than you can stand, please...rent it first. I can't really think of anything good to say about this game. The graphics are ugly - I've seen games that looked better on the first xbox. The framerate is horrible considering the primitiveness of the graphics. The gameplay isn't much better. I can see elements of other (better) games have been lifted and re-used here. The time travel storyline was done to much better effect in Timeshift.
Summary: This may be the worst game to come out in 2008. I purchased it knowing that. This game had potential to be incredibly great, but it was rushed at the end, and not finished correctly. The A.I is mentally retarded (at best) you can stand right next to an enemy and he will not shoot you. They stole the shooting mechanics from Gears of War. Some levels are incredibly hard, while others are super simplistic. At times you have no clue where to go, and the map sucks.
Summary: This game has more glitches than I have ever seen. I haven't played a game in a long time where the character lagged so much. The spared every expense possible in this one. I wouldn't recomend getting this game if it were free.
Summary: Like I said, waste of time & money. I thought this game would be awesome, it was not to be. I liked the storyline, where several people went "missing" in history, but in reality, were plucked by futuristic people and given high-tech weapons and changed history. I liked this to begin with. The thing that sucked about it, was there was no in game mission objectives & no map to guide you. The better games are the "Civil War A Nation Divided" & "Civil War Secret Missions.
