    Hm, looks like ex Valve talent Kim Swift ( of Portal fame ) arrived a little too late to save what has apparently become a sinking ship. Read more

    • Looks okay and I guess the story is okay, even has a few cool gameplay ideas;
    • It flops in just about every department and it tries too hard to be something it's not, completely failing to deliver the best of both old-fashioned air-based shooters and traditional 3rd person action games, weird camera ...

    Once Dark Void's brutally short campaign is over, the game is over. Without a multiplayer mode, Dark Void rests on its single-player. Unfortunately, it's not up to the standards set by the best. Read more

    We were promised jetpacks. As a society. It's an idea as old as time, and you can read about it in old issues of Popular Mechanics magazine. There it is, clear as day. And where'd they get their proof? Read more

    Dark Void is a new game from developer Airtight Games, trying to bring something new to the; "take cover, shoot bad guys over chest-high walls" games that have cropped up in recent years. Read more

    But, again, there’s a downside. Despite the gameplay being relatively solid, some of the levels are horribly designed, with autosave points set too far apart and ledges that you can’t see (due to the dark color pallette),... Read more
