Summary: The game's story and fighting method sound very interesting. However, it never mentioned that this is a first person fighting/adventure game. While 1st person perspective is perfect for shooting game, but not for fighting game. I feel like wearing a metal diving suit with everything cover, except for a tiny window. I can't tell where my enemies are. You can't turn your head, you must turn the entire body. I often fall of the cliff since I can't tell where my feet are.
Summary: This is not a true RPG game. It is a scripted Adventure game with scripted leveling up. If my expectations were set properly, I would give it a higher rating. As an adventure game, it is fun. Most of the monsters are slow moving, so you can take your time to knock them out. Every level has a goal, if you fail, you start over from the beginning, just like "Grand Theft Auto" missions.
Summary: i played for a total of three minutes, then turned of the console wondering why i wasted even a cent on this rubbish. The graphics are bland and embarrassing, the character models look like something from the PS1 and the frame rate looks like a blind child was placed in charge of assuring its smoothness...that is rude to blind children...they would have never let a game with a frame rate this bad ship.
Summary: If you're looking for reasons to buy this game please read the few other, positive reviews for DMMM. I'm here to tell you why NOT to buy this game, or...if you're going to buy it, don't pay more than $20 bucks for it, at the most. If you're looking for fantasy based FPS multiplayer, it has yet to arrive on the Xbox 360. So few people own DMMM that finding a ranked multiplayer match is maddening.
Conclusion: i bought this game thinking it was goin to be like oblivion then i was about to buy my friend told me that it isnt a free roam i decided to buy it anyway beacuse the fighting and the magic looked cool as soon as i got home and played it was terrible the graphics are average the gameplay is abmismal the AI is also rubbish i tried to sneak up on and then he ended hurting me first ?? i dont no if it was a glitch but it was awfull.
I'm easily amused but this is an awful, awful game
10 July 2008
Conclusion: I'm really quite easily amused by games - give me a sword and the ability to hack some baddly accented peasants to death and I'm usually happy (I work in a call centre & I have to have some catharsis somewhere!) but DM:MME is awful. Perhaps it is because I got it in 2011 and the years have been harsh, but this game is one that make me wonder if it was play tested at all.
