Summary: I am new to this kind of games, so I am still getting used to it. But this sure is an addictive way to get exercise. The only problem I've had has been with the mat which tends to slip & bunch up a great deal on our thick carpet. After experimenting with a slip-proof pad for a throw rug & two-sided carpet tape (not much help) I hit on the idea of putting a chairmat (like those used under a rolling office chair) under the mat.
Summary: Additionally the play lists aren't as diverse, at least not from what I've played & unlocked. The original DDR games featured classic disco tunes, modern hip hop & pop, the best of the electronica world, some fun ethnic-inspired tunes, and a bunch of random Asian techno acts for an eclectic but balanced mix.
Summary: I bought it as a fun and cheap exercises tool (for adults too). I take a week to practice through the beginner level and start burning up calories and feel fun in the basic level. Totally agree that the game is not well written. It takes long time to load and you need to press "A" to go through the meaningless messages. Every time you fail a song, you have to go back and select again and again. Well, I see it as a chance to get water and rest a bit between songs.
Summary: Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3 is the perfect game to bring family and friends together. The upbeat and catchy tunes in this game provide endless fun, and can continue to do so for a long time. DDRU3 comes with all new game modes, such as quest mode, which helps you progress into a harder mode. This game is ideal for beginners and even old school dancers. I like the fast paced dance moves and even the more slower, chill songs.
