Summary: While playing this game, I was worried that maybe the Kinect itself had a problem with two players. We tried Kinect Adventures and Dance Masters both in two-player mode; no problems at all. At this point it would seem to me that THQ did a sloppy job with the motion detection programming in two player mode.
it looks to be a fun game haven't got the kinks worked out though

Summary: I bought this game for the fun factor and the graphics. This was a great buy for the game it was cheap so trying it was a good idea. But for some reason the game doesn't want to recognize me but it will find my husband.....
Summary: We switched it to 2-player mode when I got home, and were amazed... at the lag and lack of motion detection. We would do the most basic of movements, such as marching in place, and it would not pick up our movements. Yes, we were within the Kinect range of sight, not too close and not too far away. There was also nearly two feet between us. My wife was confused since it was working a lot better for her earlier.
Great song selection, decent 1P gameplay, heavily-flawed 2P gameplay

Summary: We picked this game up because several of my wife's favorite songs are on it. She played it by herself while I was at work, and exitedly told me it was better than what people said. We switched it to 2-player mode when I got home, and were amazed... at the lag and lack of motion detection. We would do the most basic of movements, such as marching in place, and it would not pick up our movements.
Excerpt: I bought myself a Kinect just before Christmas, and I had a selection of games to go with it. I really enjoyed Dance Central and I saw that there was another dance game called Dance Paradise. Dance Paradise is made by Universal and is rated a 12. Personally I am not sure why anyone younger than 12 can not play, the swear words are all blanked out of songs and the videos they use are perfectly suitable for kids in my opinion.
Pros: Some good songs,
Cons: not well thought out, not full songs, long loading times
Excerpt: Dance Paradise on the Xbox uses new Kinect software to see the movements you make as you dance along with the onscreen character. With over 30 songs to choose from, multiple types of gameplay and varying levels of difficulty. In dance paradise your objective it to do the dance moves, correctly and in time to the music which can be broken down to you in a step by step lesson to get you ready for doing the whole song.
Pros: Fun and enjoyable game play . Clever technology . Variety in songs and dance moves .
Cons: requires expensive software (kinect), sensors are lacking and there is a need for sufficient space
