Summary: This has got to be the worst game I have ever played. I played the first Crackdown which was entertaining. Being able to jump over buildings was great fun. There were the obvious limitations: it's a bit too arcade-ish; there's no real progression; you can explore the Crackdown world but there's zero story. Crackdown 2 however is awful, just awful. The opponent AI is pretty miserable. Killing them becomes repetitive.
Summary: This game is just all around cheesy from the story line to the game play, the objectives are not clear, and there are just mobs of enemies every where but you just don't really get any sense of satisfaction from completing missions they just don't feel like they have any deep meaning. I could not believe that they are actually making a second one after this one has bombed so much.
Summary: This game is really fun, it's a good time waster and is worth the money you paid for it...until it gets patched. Once the game is patched, they insert all sorts of extra things in to the game that you can't actually play, they only take you to a screen where you can BUY the gameplay. It's annoying, it breaks up the regular game, and there's no way I've found to turn it off.
Conclusion: Texas Hold 'Em brings the popular card game to Xbox Live Arcade, with brilliant AI players, and nail-biting multiplayer matches. Unfortunately, the game contains a heartbreaking bug. In three weeks of playing, twice it has happened to this reviewer that the pot from winning a hand has gone to a player who has folded in a previous round of betting. From speaking to other players, this occurrence is not uncommon.
Summary: By far the worst game I have ever played, the controls are unresponsive, the weapon mechanic is crap; you have to wait for the reticule to zoom in or you will miss, the jumping and running are almost uncontrollable and the game relies on spawning unlimited enemies to beat you, that's it the AI is moronic even for an old game. Its not worth the space it takes up.
Summary: The game came very quick and I opened it, everything was fine put it in the xbox 360 it loaded up went to play after the intro and it said the disk was dirty, so I looked and the disc look spotless so tried again the same thing happen so looked again to find a tiny scratch on the label side, popped to town asked in game if it could be fixed, they said no, but had one in without a box for 99p so got that.
The Best Game Ever.... For the First Half an Hour!!!
6 April 2009
Summary: At first, seeing all those "Impressive" ratings from companies like IGN and such, I went out to rent it for myself. In the game, you are not a criminal, but a self-employed person who gets tired of a Latino drug gang running the city with their cartel, and decides to "crack down" on crime. In the game, you can play as one of a variety of characters.
Summary: Ever since the GTA created the concept of the sandbox game, many have copied it in the hope to bring in the sales. Crackdown is just one of these many copies. Now im not saying its a bad thing to catch onto the sandbox idea, i am a fan of being able to go anywhere, however this one fails horribly at adding any other depth, other then the sandbox quality. The game has a very simple idea, you playing as a new breed of cop in a city of thugs.
