Review: Country Dance All Stars (Microsoft Xbox 360)
30 August 2012
Summary: Not a terrible game, not even a bad game. It’s merely stuck with the fact that there are better games out there in the same genre. It’s one advantage is the focus specifically on Country Music, which has been hugely under served by those other games.
Excerpt: Though Country Dance All Stars tries, superficially, to be a country-western version of Dance Central , it’s not nearly as polished or complex as Harmonix’s blockbuster series. Its menus have a heavy, sluggish feel, and, confusingly, you’re kicked out to the main menu each time you complete a round of songs.
Pros: + Good assortment of catchy songs; a couple of interesting alternative modes.
Cons: ? How did the gal on the loading screen get into those jeans?
