A Careful Refinement of the Quintessential FPS

Summary: Over the past few years, a general trend has emerged from the shooter genre: brief single-player campaigns laden with scripted-events, coupled with a multiplayer mode so accessible that even the weakest teammate can feel empowered. While these games may offer the swift satisfaction of being able to mow down your enemies with predator missiles or tanks, it isn't without it's price.
Summary: Counter Strike, or CS, has been in my life for a long time and seeing a new addition made me slightly skeptical. But fear not, Valve never lets us down when it comes to developing great and amazing games. (Now release dates are a different story) CS:GO has tremendous graphics with it's eye-popping maps and smooth weapon textures. Another thing that stood out to me was the AMAZING sound in this game.
Summary: (This is for the PC version) I've been playing it for a while and it's amazing, graphics are good, gameplay is awesome, and overall just fun to play when you got nothing to do. Now the downside about CS:GO is that there is less modding, when you install mods/skins I have to re-install the game. Other than that it's awesome.
Summary: PC VERSION Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) is pretty much the same as Counter Strike: Source in all the obvious ways stated in the GI review above ; no instant respawns... etc, But this is an extremely good thing. As someone who has played more then 1000 hours of CSS I will obviously be biased but I will also be knowledgeable.
