Summary: This port sucks. Konami ported the wrong version, it was the Nintendo version, with the classic soundtrack and graphics that made Contra such a acclaimed game. The controls are bad and you can't remap them.
Conclusion: This is a pretty good selection of Live Arcade games, however if you have Xbox live you're far better off just downloading the trial versions, as for the most part there's not huge amounts of difference. However if you don't have access to the trials it's probably worth a rent.
Conclusion: I am very pleased with this port to the Xbox360 of Contra. It is identical to the Arcade version, which is what I was hoping for. I admittedly never played the Nintendo version, but did spend many hours playing the Commodore 64 version in the mid 1980s.
