Condemned: Criminal Origins

Game Over Online
12 January 2015
  • Excerpt: The Xbox 360 launch was marked by a selection of games that mostly featured sequels (or a prequel in the case of Perfect Dark Zero) and ports of popular sports titles. King Kong was based on an already-existing intellectual property so in fact there were only two titles based on original properties.

True achievements

  • Conclusion: If you allow yourself to follow my line of thinking- Condemned limited ammo and limited reliance on ammunition makes Condemned the best launch FPS - and Call of Duty 2's endlessly spawning bad guys and bullet time life-or-death trials of error as you try to advance from checkpoints to checkpoint was...

Condemned: Criminal Origins - Game Accessibility Review

ablegamers.com
24 August 2010
  • Excerpt: Visuals: Condemned is a very dark game with a very dark and grey color palette. Although the game has a brightness control that can be adjusted at any time during the game, it can still often be hard to see even with perfect eyesight.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

Gaming Evolution
24 July 2007
  • Conclusion: It has been several years since we have seen a title that has been able to keep gamers glued to the seats and wondering what’s around the next corner. Resident Evil started it all, and it seems that Monolith and Sega has reinvented the horror genre with their own flavor.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

Xbox Evolved
10 October 2006
  • Summary: Condemned is going to stay in my 360 collection forever. I will always creep me out and Monolith did an excellent job with the game. I am hoping Monolith is now moving on to bring F.E.A.R. to the 360 so everybody can see that Monolith has become a great developer to watch out for.
  • Pros: Hand to Hand combat, graphics, and just whacked out in every way.
  • Cons: Too short of a game and no replay to keep you coming back.

World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions Review

IGN Entertainment
22 September 2006
  • Conclusion: Poker video games thrive on offering players as much poker as possible, not necessarily good poker (good as in the level of competition, not in how it’s portrayed). Certainly, WSoP: ToC is a solid game from that standpoint.
