Summary: The Good: Gruesome, horrifying atmosphere, excellent melee combat, satisfying story The Bad: Useless multiplayer and fight club modes, all the item hunting get distracting I'm sure you've played the 2005 awesome survival horror game Condemned: Criminal Origins, and if you haven't go pick it up (you...
Summary: This game is very different than the original. In the original Condemned you were scared to walk into the next room, and all you had was an awkward looking pipe to hold onto. Here the horror isn't nearly as omnipresent, and the story is even more ridiculous.
Summary: Its successful at taking the First person genre & adding hand to hand combat. The combat is fun but can get repetitive, however combat is only a portion of the game. You do detective work like search for clues, problem solve, & it has alittle RPG elements.
Summary: All in all it's a great game if you're a survival horror fan or a fan of the first. Especially at $20.00
Pros: The intensity of the original returns. Dim lit areas, terrific ambience sounds and close combat battles galore. The scene in the lodge with the Bear is awesome. Realy well done. The investigation sequences are well done as well. The fact that you need to drink some alcohol in order to steady your...
Cons: I wish they would improve on the slow melee combat. It takes too long to throw a punch. Story was no where near as strong as the original and the end boss fight was a big let down. The Sonic Voice Power you get on the last level was a great idea, just not executed well.
Summary: I picked this up on a whim for $5 locally. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by this one! The graphics were really well done. The color pallete was a bit dark and drab but that works given the setting and story. Everything was highly detailed and engaging.
