Summary: I got this game out of morbid curiosity. I got it cheap (Under 10 bucks) and I would be upset if I spent much more....I tried to play it, I really did, but I just couldn't get interested. You are a drunken ex-cop (which is supposed to give it a gritty sin-city feel...didn't work for me, but I see where they were going, so whatever)You start off with no weapons, just a flashlight (which because the game itself is really dark..visually..
Summary: I played the first Condemned and was pretty satisfied. Through the whole game I was tense, feeling some other presence in the game with me at all times, I felt the gloom from the scenery.. I was scared, which is why I wanted the game. It was great. Condemned 2... no. The main problems I have with this game are the lighting and fighting... I'll start with the lighting.
Summary: I was looking forward to playing a good horror fps, And after reading all the great reviews, when i got the game it just falls far short of the expectations I had for it (Which weren't super high to begin with) The controls are what kill it for me, It just seems clunky, I cant find a sensitivity for looking that feels right. And the walking, It just seems to me that the guy is stumbling around like hes drunk.
Summary: i like the graphics and the new investigation tools you get to help you solve the mysteries but the game overall has some parts that are very boring and dont seem to stop. some parts you have to use a gun for a long period of time unlike the first one in which gun usage was very very limited. overall i was not real happy with it, it did have some fun parts but the boring parts just keep comeing back.
