Condemned 2: Bloodshot is a much improved sequel over its predecessor
3 July 2014
Summary: I played the demo to Condemned 1 Criminal Origins and it was so amazing I had to buy the game. Well before I bought this sequel Condemned 2, I had also downloaded the free demo to this game on Xbox 360 and was disgusted. That demo was a gross misrepresentation of the game and did not do it justice. The demo throws so much annoying stuff at you with no tutorial and the demo just abruptly ends.
Summary: The game starts off with just melee attack and stays that way until you complete the game. After you defeat the game, the FPS option is available and you can play the games with projectile weapons. I didn't have the patience to complete the game using only melee attacks. For me, this was a complete waste of money and I will throw the game onto the junk heap.
Summary: It was a little too dark, depressing, morbid for me. It kept my interest though and the unlocks at the end of the game make we want to go through it again and clean house...maybe I will. Overall, it's a good game. Sega usually puts out games I enjoy.
Summary: First off I want to thank the person I bought it from because it arrived on time and in very good condition for a used game. Very pleased with delivery and the condition of the disk. Okay now that's out of the way, the game itself... This game is in no way new. With games like dead space and gears out now, these graphics are okay nothing special. If graphics is what you're going for you might want to avoid this game. But the horror aspect of it is amazing!
Summary: First, let me start by saying that I played through the first Condemned game back when XBOX 360 first launched and I did like that game. I played Condemned 2 many years later and, I think I assumed that it would have improved on the first game, making my expectations too high. I suppose playing a game for the first time in 2013 that was released in 2008 would explain why it feels so outdated.
