Condemned 2: Bloodshot (Xbox 360) Review

411mania.com
4 April 2008
  • Summary: Condemned 2: Bloodshot, while not overly different from the first incarnation comes as a fine sequel to what was already a pretty good game. This is a game that encourages you to think outside the box and use some strategy and smarts while challenging you to stay alive in hopes of bringing your city back to sanity. While the multiplayer is a welcome addition, I don’t see it really being more than a side distraction when you need a break from the single player game.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot Review

IGN Entertainment
3 April 2008
  • Conclusion: If you really dig the fighting mechanics, then there’s a Fight Club Mode that should keep you happy and enjoying the game for a long time after you beat the single-player mode. But the multiplayer games are, unfortunately, fairly disposable. They feel a bit tacked on and their mediocrity stands out against the otherwise finely crafted feel of the rest of the game. Single player is where it’s at, and the story is mostly compelling.

  • Excerpt: The 360 had a pretty good release line-up but one game seemed to slip by largely unnoticed by the great gaming public. A serious crime in my opinion.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot Review

Strategy Gaming Online
25 March 2008
  • Excerpt: Condemned: Criminal Origins was an under-hyped Xbox 360 launch title that seemingly snuck out of nowhere and struck me hard; not with a pipe or splintered hunk of wood, like one of its own makeshift weapon-brandishing psychopaths would have, but with its ability to steal my attention from higher profile launch games.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

xboxachievements.com
18 March 2008
  • Conclusion: Condemned 2: Bloodshot is not just a carbon copy of Criminal Origins, but instead the natural progression of the series. Take every complaint you had about the first Condemned and assume it's fixed. The combat is deeper and more engaging, forensics gathering is actually fun this time around, and the presentation of the whole package is much better as well.

Killzone 2

  • Excerpt: PS3 exclusive raises the FPS bar? by AXIS of Reality ©2009 Alex Baldwin Let me start off by saying this review is almost a curse. Over the past few weeks as the reviews of Killzone 2 flooded the internet, sites were loved or loathed based on the number at the end of their article and accusations of ‘fanboism’ were thrown thick and fast.
