Summary: Best college game I have ever played including NCAA football. The detail that it goes into for recruiting and coaching is incredible. The graphics are horrible but it is from 2008. Despite the graphics this is an awesome game to play and would recommend it to anyone looking to find a more in depth game than the EA versions.
Summary: This game is awesome, the gameplay is great, the graphics are great. The courts look amazing and you can tell great detail was put into each and every schools court. It has alot extra things to do Legacy Mode, Open and Career modes, Tournament Mode, Create-a-Team mode, Create-a-Player, & you can Customize Rosters and put names on them. Overall this isn't just the best College basketball game ever it's the best basketball gave ever!
Summary: I have been playing this game every year since it came out in 2007, 2K Sports have always had the edge over EA Sports when it came to basketball games. The fluid motions, ease of playing and overall enjoyment is great. For those who are unaware, College Basketball games have stopped being made since 2009, the last of which was NCAA Basketball 10 by EA Sports. While the EA game has an ESPN feel, the game seems to lack the heart and excitement that College Hoops gives you.
Summary: Gamestop allowed me to play EA NCAA 2010 for 7 days and it was horrible. The players moved like they were on skates. I returned it and obtained this game for $20. It is THE best hoop game ever made. I had the 2k7 and this one has some nice new features as far as calling plays on the go. The action around the basket is more realistic. I am very happy with this game. If you had 2k7 you should look to get this game. They fine tuned the prior game.
Summary: I like the 2k nba games, and I still love playing this game! the roster share keep you up with the current rosters each and every year. graphics are great for a 6 year old game...would be nice if 2k would update this series, but until then this game is amazing! stay away from EA's ncaa hoops games...not even on the same planet as 2k's.
Summary: The Legacy mode in this game is nothing short of incredible. It blows every other sports game "Franchise" mode out of the water. There's nothing quite like bringing up some school from the Patriot League to the NCAA Tournament, seeing a pixelated Greg Gumbel call out your team's name. It's intensely challenging, rewarding, and incredibly fun. I've sunk more time into this game than any other over the last five years, and it's not even close.
Summary: Not a lot of folks are likely reading this review, for a game that came out five years ago, but if you want a high quality product this is it. 2K no longer makes college basketball games and it truly is a shame, because this masterpiece is the most realistic, true to the game basketball experience you will ever find. The amount of detail put into every aspect is truly amazing.
