Summary: anyone who has not played the dirt 1 2 or 3 needs to. these are awesome racing games. tons of raced and different vehicles, too many baja truck races but once again code masters does not disappoint. also grid and grid 2 are excellent as well.
Summary: I played the demo before I bought the game so I knew what I was getting. I enjoy it. The physics are pretty realistic as far as the off-road driving goes. The game got here fast and was packaged very well. All around great transaction.
Summary: I love racing games but after playing a bunch of NFS, Forza and PGR knew that there was no way for me to get to the next level without upgrading to the wheel/pedal/shifter setup. Unfortunately, there is just not enough finesse to the driving when you are forced to drive at 100+ mph with an unpredictable, white knuckled, slippery left thumb; but, in addition to Guitar Hero gear, I don't have room for all of that crap nor do I have an appropriate table (or special racing...
Summary: I was expecting a more pure rally title but found myself really appreciating Dirt 2 for what it was. I liked the first Dirt but to me the controls of Dirt (1) were overly arcade-y, and out-of-car views and replays looked quite ridiculous most of the time and made watching these views and the replays unbearable for me. For Dirt 2 Codemasters has really done some great work.
Summary: First off I will break my review up into sections. I think I have played the game enough to write a good review about it. I have rented it and after playing it when I can for about a week (10+ hours of game play), this is what I have to say about Dirt 2. Game play - The game play in one sentence would be, "Fantastic but by all means, not perfect.
Summary: At first I was hesitant to purchase this game after the disappointment that Fuel was, but after a couple of races I was completely hooked for many hours! Whether you are looking for solid single player game, or swapping paint in multiple online matches, then this off road adrenaline rush is for you! First off the graphics are amazingly better than the first Dirt; I was very impressed with the overall presentation of this game.
Summary: This games is so beautiful to look at, and you can tell that people worked very hard to make such a polished gaming experience. The realism is actually what takes away from the game for me, though. The vehicles control so realistically, and everything feels like it's almost real world. But it just doesn't feel fun. It's more for the realistic racing sim fan. If you like gran turismo games, you would feel right at home with this one.
