Summary: A fun and great value download from the Wii U e-shop. It’s in the gameplay where this really shines; combining castle defense, troop combat and angry birds style castle smashing to create a truly unique gameplay experience. Although the controls are quite fiddly at first (a couple of things could certainly have been changed to make it a bit easier) you’ll soon be bombarding castles, A fun and great value download from the Wii U e-shop.
Summary: A very unique twist to the tower defense genre. The control scheme is actually quite difficult to master, which adds to the fun challenge of it all. The online multiplayer is fun and usually not hard to find a match. I have two gripes with the game: The music is a bit generic and boring, to be honest. Also, once you figure out how to play the game, the gameplay becomes a bit stale. Unlike A very unique twist to the tower defense genre.
Summary: I like this game...a lot. I'm not sure if it's something new, since I haven't really pursued the tower defense RTS genre, but it seems to be executed flawlessly. I was getting really into it from the very beginning.
Summary: Now, here's a game that's a whole lot of fun! Enter CastleStorm: a game which brings together a wicked combination of Angry Birds and Age of War, throws in a levelling system, a castle editor, leaderboards and online multiplayer, and calls it art. And what a masterpiece this game is! The Campaign mode is very long, with charming humour and a plethora of weapons and magic to boot! If that's Now, here's a game that's a whole lot of fun!
Summary: Very fun strategy game! I'm addicted. The main game is fun, but the multiplayer is more fun and more addicting. It has BOTH local and online multiplayer. Local has one player watch the TV while the other watches the Gamepad screen. Works like a CHAMP. Great fun! Balance your time and energy between spawning troops, shooting a balista, casting spells, and controlling your hero as you Very fun strategy game! I'm addicted.
Summary: Addictive and fun RTS/tower defence with a nice art style, dry sense of humour and light hearted atmosphere. There are a healthy amount of game modes and upgradeable units along with a simple castle editor and local or online co-op and versus multiplayer. It's a nice change of pace from hectic racers/shooters, and fits perfectly with Wii U.
Summary: The game has lots of variety, and even accommodates for different play styles which you wouldn't expect from a game such as this. Lots of fun, I can only hope i can convince my friends to buy it.
Summary: I haven't posted many reviews here on Metacritic in recent weeks, but I’ve had suuuuuch a blast with CastleStorm on my Vita, that I just couldn’t resist logging in and shouting it from the rooftops! CastleStorm is one of those rare games that within minutes of booting it up for the very first time, you’re sucked right into the heart of the action…and it just gets better and better the I haven't posted many reviews here on Metacritic in recent weeks, but I’ve had suuuuuch...
