Summary: This is another very good Pixar licensed game by Avalanche Software- not quite as good as Toy Story 3, but still a good, solid, Mario Kart style racing game. It plays well, but certain types of races are more fun than others, and the fact that you have to repeat the un-fun ones over and over to advance becomes a drag after a while.
Summary: Cars 2 for the XBox 360 is a OK game. Basically you run through the tutorial to learn the simple maneuvers to control the car of your choice. Once you are ready you enter Stage 1. Each Stage consists of the same 4 random challenges. It's either going to be a Standard Race, a Battle Race (use weapons against other cars), A Survival Challenge (collect batteries to keep your shields up), Or a Hunter challenge (chase down and destroy as many enemy cars as you can).
Summary: Two hours after getting the game, my eight year old son is already bored. Basically, it's a racing game, which is not what you expect, based on the past Cars games. There's really no storyline or tie in to the movie other than the cars being the Cars 2 characters. I wish we had rented instead of bought the game.
