Summary: I can forgive the poor 3rd person shooter they've shoe-horned into this version of the game, and I can forgive the dodgy script and voice acting of the cut scenes, as in essence this is still the same game I knew and loved as a kid and played to death.
Summary: Complete Garbage. Downloaded the demo and suffice to say, was laughing during the initial transport of my "tank" to the land via the VTOL. I use "'s around "tank", because for being a tank, the developers did a great job of throwing everything out the window when designing this game.
Summary: This game seriously sucks. It looks promising, and the idea was brilliant, but the AI is incredibly stupid. It cant even understand simple orders like "go here". I tested this by pointing a tank in the correct direction manually and telling to drive 100m down a straight road.
Summary: After playing the game further, I have noticed that the game has no ability to discern missions, and after revisiting and earlier area later in the game, I heard all the mission text and my units wouldn't work properly. Shortly after this, the game simply crashed.
Summary: I'm one of those gamers that within the first 10-20 minutes I should feel impressed with the game, should be drawn in. To be honest... didn't happen... Graphics... somewhere between original xbox and xbox 360.... should be better. Gameplay... First person mode is lacking; lacking..
Excerpt: So much promise. I have fond memories playing Carrier Command on my Amiga. Sadly the remake was being handled by a bunch of totally incompetent muppets. The controller was set to hyper sensitive.
