Old Setting

  • Summary: Online seekers of this game will find some perks added & some changes in names. Rest assure it's still the same frantic multiplayer combat, but with some more open ended maps. For players not familiar with 'perks', these are implementations to ones character that give additional abilities (& are...

  • Summary: fun, better zomibes than black ops but in 2011(not sure when you will be reading this) the hackers got a hold of it and 4/12 people are invinible, but the zombies is really great

Old Setting, but fun game

Taylor Marsh "GamingTaylor", Amazon
1 December 2011
  • Summary: Call of Duty World at War is set back during WW2. Kind of strange to make a game set in an older era right after the great success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The guns are old classics, Thompson, MP40, old bolt action snipers, and rifles, etc.

It's Back To The "Good" War

HeyItsWill_5115, Game Informer
17 November 2011
  • Summary: Call of Duty has went from World War II games to modern-day war games, and now it's back in Call of Duty: World at War, and it sure doesn't disappoint. The Campaign is your average Campaign. You'll switch off between two characters in a cinematic story, while fighting both Japanese and Germans.

Pretty good stuff!!

Louisa May Alcott "teachermom", Amazon

  • Summary: When I first got this game I was pretty psyched. I had always wanted it! The game is what I expected it to be and more. My favorite part of the single player story is at the very beginning when you are being held hostage by the Japanese. I always love games where there is some kind of torture.

Game Over... continue?, Game Informer
26 January 2011
  • Summary: I seem to be working my way backwards with my Call of Duty reviews. This time it's Call of Duty: World at War , which returns the franchise to its WWII roots after the ground breaking success of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare .
