Summary: When I bought this game I thought I was buying the PC version, and I don't have an XBox 360... however, with extremely fast shipping and the good shape this product appears to be in, I can't be anything but happy that I have it, and I will be getting a 360 to play it on. From what I've seen so far, I love it!
FUN exploration and hunting with or without the HUD help.

Summary: The outdoor environments of Cabela's African Safari similar to Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 1 are big but not TOO BIG, so you can explore the areas all on your own without using the HUD that displays colored dots on screen locating where the animals are when you get near them. You can choose to turn the HUD on or off but I kept it off for most of the game especially when hunting the large animals as they are easier to spot out in a distance without any help from the HUD...
Summary: We own nearly every cabelas game and this is by far our favorite. We were hoping activision would do another one similar, but nothing compatible yet. We have had this for several years now and we play it more than all our other games except Star Wars battlefront ii (another great game that needs a matching addition). Admitidly we do not like the violent hunting games and are more interested in somewhat family friendly games.
Summary: I'll admit it - I'm a sucker for killing Animal Planet cover animals. Strange, because I don't own a gun and have never (and will never) shoot anything. But I have a zeal for the kill, evidently. And this title really made me think (despite the poor reviews) that it would be all I hoped it would be. But it sadly isn't. The graphics are poor, the animals run with the most unnatural gait, and really who wanders around the savannah on foot?
Summary: There is a wide variety of animals to hunt in this game and the gun selection is also pretty good. I am not an actual hunter, so I don't know if this is like ral hunting, but I still had fun playing, and not because I'm shooting animals, it's just fun because you get to see some wildlife even if it's animated and then you can shoot it and know that it wasn't real but get points for it.
Summary: Can be a little scary for younger children but that would be why it's rated T for teen...Has gore to it and can be a litte shocking when your character gets attacked but all and all a great hunting game!
Summary: I played the first dangerous hunts and i thought it would be like this game but it's so different. you have to beat the whole game just to do free hunt, which it to hunt every animal in the game. i justed wanted to hunt, not to be every story. if you dont want to play the story then don't by it. if you like story and then the hunting games then is this is the perfect game for you. the animals do interact really good. they will attach or run when you shoot at them.
