  • Excerpt: Brink will live or die based solely on its community. I don't just mean in terms of pure player volume, but in their willingness to break out of the current FPS commando mindset.

  • Conclusion: Sometimes you will be revived within seconds, other times there is no medics at all on your team, Same with the AI on the other team, sometimes they will drop like flies and not get back up, and sometimes they have 4 medics that are constantly reviving those you just kill.

Brink Review

PlayDevil
1 June 2011
  • Summary: Whether or not " Brink " is the game for you will likely come down to how fond you are of objective based team combat. If you can enter the game without an preconceived notions of story, then the lack of anything worthwhile beyond the core experience shouldn’t perturb you too much.

(Xbox 360 Review) Brink

The Entertainment Depot
25 May 2011
  • Summary: Brink is one of the few games where I started out unimpressed but found myself coming around and eventually having a great time. It’s rare to go from a negative impression all the way up to playing hours on end a night, but Brink has a certain charm to it that really hooked my inner Medic.
