Brink (Xbox360)

EL33TONLINE
5 June 2011
  • Excerpt: Around the same time that Bethesda Softworks officially announced its new romance with Splash Damage the couple promptly revealed that they were already working on a new baby. Anxious fans received much in the way of screenshots, concept art, developer diaries, in-game demo’s and a long list of planned features… but also protracted delays. After two years of unbridled anticipation, Brink has finally arrived!

Brink Accessibility Review

ablegamers.com
19 May 2011
  • Excerpt: Over the past few months, people who pre-order games to have them on release day have consistently been disappointed with the overall quality of the games they’ve received. The list of complaints is endless – unacceptably short single-player campaigns, poorly-designed multiplayer, game-breaking bugs … the list just keeps going. Sadly, the only way Brink is different is in the degree of disappointment, which exceeds every other poorly received title to date this year.

Brink

ActionTrip

  • Conclusion: In the end, I have difficulty either recommending or telling people to avoid Brink. If you like Enemy Territory enough that you're willing to play another somewhat flawed version of it, you may enjoy Brink. If you're just looking to run around and shoot some people, you'll probably enjoy Brink, at least enough to justify renting it. If you have hopes beyond this, or are looking for a decent single-player experience, save your money.
  • Pros: Basically just another Enemy Territory with some features removed;
  • Cons: Basically just another Enemy Territory with some badly unneeded features tacked-on.

Brink

oxmonline.com
10 May 2011
  • Excerpt: As resources dwindle, the residents of the near-future Ark split into first-person-shooting factions composed of security goons and resistance fighters. You’ll start your game of Brink by pimping out your wardrobe, watching an unnecessarily long tutorial video, and then jumping into short campaigns that tell both sides of a tale that goes nowhere. What the game lacks in narrative appeal, it could’ve made up for with some pretty cool ideas.
  • Pros: + Four classes, 50-plus abilities, an arsenal of customizable weapons, and plentiful dress-up options., + Atrocious A.I.; objectives offer little variety; maddening parkour; pointless story.
  • Cons: - Maps favor clutter and sprawl over organic flow and well-crafted choke points., ? No female fighters on the Ark?

Brink Review

  • Summary: Brink is a new IP from Splash Damage that attempts to bring story and context to team-based, objective gameplay both online and off, but will it complete its mission?
  • Pros: Single character progression across all modes, Objective wheel makes sure you're contributing to the cause
  • Cons: Campaign is a worthless addition, Lackluster weapons and maps, Terrible bot AI

Test : Brink sur Xbox 360

XBOX MAG
7 February 2014
