Excerpt: Anyone that knows me or has spoken to me has realised by now that Borderlands is essentially my top game for 2009. It has its faults but they are soon forgiven for addictive gameplay which keeps me coming back for more.

Summary: A standard video game used to mean that it would offer some gameplay or storyline mode, with the addition of at most a multiplayer option. These days, developers are relying on the extra content and extra modes of gameplay to increase their game’s shelf life.
Summary: Little over a month after the release of its first downloadable content pack ( The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned ), Borderlands is at it again. The second serving is titled Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot in honor of the vampy ringleader who oversees the coliseum-style combat that dominates this DLC.
Pros: Two skill points are a juicy reward, Lots of tough, relentless combat
Cons: Lots of tough, repetitive combat, No experience or weapon proficiency gains, Limited number of environments, Small bug affects loot drop visibility
