Borderlands 2: Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre
11 February 2014
Conclusion: Mad Moxxi and The Wedding Day Massacre doesn't offer anything that I can't get out of the main story campaign. It's a brief collection of staid encounters, set in uninspired surroundings populated by unlikeable, uninteresting characters. I've come to expect a lot more than this from Borderlands 2, and I hope to see a lot better for the next DLC pack.
Pros: Same Borderlands 2 fun
Cons: Lifeless environment, Boring quests, Unlikable characters, No gameplay twists
Excerpt: I’m not really a fan of Sir Hammerlock — in fact, he’s probably the only character in the first game I didn’t like. I get that the game was going for an “old bean by jove” gentlemanly hunter type, but I felt like he was mostly just a walking trope.
