Summary: They couldn't get the NFL logo or players on this one but it still brings most of the fun and even adds to the franchise. The campaign mode sorta plays like a movie, there's an actual story line behind and certain things happen at key moments to affect the storyline and gameplay. You can choose how you put your team together, focus on running or passing, offense or defense.
Summary: This game is a fun game to get away from the madden series. If you want to just sit back and have some bone crushing fun, then this is it. Pretty easy and straightforward game and is plenty of fun, so it make a great party game. It will take most people new to it a bit to get used to the action being much much faster than other football games like madden and EA.
Summary: Not exactly a 5 star game but it has a great fun factor and if you like football you will love Blitz The League. It has Lawrence Taylor and Bill Romanowski in it as voices as well. Check it out if you want a football game with a twist.
Blitz: The League **Extremely Fun without the Pain**

Summary: Game Play As everyone knows, the game play is the most important factor in sports games. I can say that Midway succeeded in this aspect for Blitz. The game is a little more realistic than say Blitz 02 or 03. However, that isn't saying much. This game seems like the Blitz of old, NFL Street, and Madden into one. The only similar trait in this with Madden is that there are a large selection of plays. There are also two timeouts per half for each team.
Summary: This game is modeled beautifully after the Blitz franchise. I loved Blitz on the Nintendo 64, and then while nintendo has gotten sofer, and even MORE family oriented, the xbox and 360 have grown to accomodate the void for violence left behind. A ripped it a new one! YAY! I love all the extra modes of play, and you can customize as much or as little as you want! I put my favorite team in and customized the entire line-up! Woo Hoo, Go Team!!
Summary: Well normally I do not like unrealistic sports games like blitz, but I was forced to buy it because I needed a football game on my "next gen" (which I guess means no games) system. Madden 07 was awful and such a letdown so I figured blitz couldnt possibly be worse. At first I was like "wtf" but then I got used to it and it became alot of fun. The controls take a couple practice games to get used to but once you catch on it is very simple.
