Better than the first one and better than the newest one

Summary: I've played Blitz when it first came out. It did its job in the entertainment department but, after awhile it wears thin. However, Blitz: The League 2 does its job and puts in overtime as well. The injury animations should be in every football game. You literally see the bones breaking, Skulls cracking and even brake your opposing team player neck. If you're not a Madden fan and like your sports to be brutal and wild this title is for you.
Summary: I think the main reason why I love playing Blitz 2 was this: it's simple and easy to play. To be honest, I hate the Madden games because every year, the game gets more and more complicated. With Blitz 2, I can play football how it's supposed to be played. Guys trying to score while worrying if the next hit could break their spine or rupture their scrotum (one of my favorite injuries to inflict) that's how football games should.
