Summary: I find this game takes alittle bit to get use to controls. if you are a big fan of flight sims on XBOX 360, wont be to hard to learn. not a steep curve, but most of my sims are on PC platform. good graphics, enjoy the replay-ability. not a 5 star game, but definitely worth it, got mine for $10 used, so its a bargain. never played the first one, so cant say if there is not enough new content in this one or not. just a good battle sim, with some solid gameplay.
Summary: The missions all have their main objectives, find the lost woman, shoot down the train, but they also have secondary objectives to encourage u to go back & replay the missions to track them all down. We found the game very re-playable & enjoyed multiple passes on the same levels, trying new techniques or faster times.
Summary: If you are like me and don't play many air combat games, this game will be a challenge and if you stick with it, one will continuously improve their flying and air combat skills. It has been, for the most part, an enjoyable play. I would have given Blazing Angels 2 five stars except for one thing: as each mission has several components, and takes awhile to complete, Ubisoft did not provide a way to save after completing each component, which was quite frustrating...
Summary: I bought BA2 because I enjoyed BA1 so much. This game is a definite improvement over the first. The controls are easy, graphics are great and game play and story are done pretty well. I really like that you can upgrade your planes, adds a little more strategy to the game. The missions are not overly difficult but a few of them did get frustrating from crashing so often.
Summary: I bought this game for my teenager for Christmas. He absolutely loves this game. Now I can't get my husband away from it either! What I like is there isn't the gore, swearing, etc. in other kinds of games like this. Although the characters say the same thing over and over which gets a bit annoying. But like I said, a really good game.
Summary: My son and husband both enjoy this game - separately or playing together. One apparent glitch - when playing 2 player, you can't hook it up to 2 screens in order to have a full screen for each player - it is always split screen.
Summary: Graphically very attractive !game play is good for a simple simulation! 3rd person POV as far as game play! takes a lot of fun into flying! however, a lot of the aerodynamics is impossible for the WW2 type aircraft ! I am a pilot and so I know what I am talking about, some performance is just impossible for normal aircraft to perform as it did in the game! Still is a good all around shooter and putting in the historical and romance of WW2 combat flying!
Summary: Well, graphics wise this game looks very nice. It's def. a upgrade from BL1 due to the fact you can completely customize your aircrafts. You can change the colors, icons, and even unlock "parade" or "special" paints for them. Of course beating the game all the way through and getting ace on each mission will unlock every aircraft but you can also unlock weapons.
Conclusion: I really like this game. The first Blazing Angels was pretty fun but got very monotonous after awhile. This game is not like that. It gives you many diverse types of missions so that you don't get bored. It really mixes up the missions so that you have to do all kinds of unique things from bombing ships to chasing trains to good ol' dog-fighting. It really surprised me.....
