Summary: Continuum Shift adds a whole lot of new things to the series, but I'll start with the three brand new playable characters: Hazama, Tsubaki, & Mu-12. Hazama and Tsubaki are available to be played as from the start; Mu-12 however must be unlocked through the story mode. Hazama can use his drive to shoot out a long chain with a monstrous mouth at the last (vaguely similar to Scorpion's from Mortal Kombat but much larger).
Summary: my daughter and i enjoy playing this game and its counterpart. great fun it lacks some of the moves available in the other game, but that may be because i haven't played it enough to figure out the button combinations.
Summary: I am not usually really into fighting games. So bare with me during this review if you are already familiar with the game. I've played BlazBlue: Continuum Shift for a considerable amount of time. I mostly played the story, arcade, score attack, challenge, and training mode. However, I have not played any multiplier yet. I still feel like I need to practice how I play. With that said...'' Story: To my understanding this is a sequel to BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.
Summary: Continuum Shift, the console sequel to Blaz Blue Calamity Trigger offers a TON of new features to make the game more accessible to beginners, exactly what I was looking for. I purchased Calamity Trigger on XBOX Live about a Month ago, and me and my two roommates had been having a great time with. I have a lot of experience with fighting games, but my two female roommates don't really play games at all.
Summary: This game clean and neat. There was no sign of it ever being harshly used. The game play is spectacular. Though the tutorial mode is useful it lacks explaining commands in the console's controller button layout, so i would have to check every time which letter corresponded with which button. In a couple of minutes you will be able to tell which is means which.overall this is a pretty good game.
Summary: The first BlazBlue was a blast and Continuum Shift is really much fun too. Only downside buying this game now is that the new version titled Extend is coming pretty soon and it includes extra content. Overall I recommend this game to all fighting game fans!
Summary: Whether it's playing on your own or duelling with a friend, this game is enough to make your palms sweat insanely! The story mode that they incorporated in the game is great, each character's backgrounds and interactions are very unique and interesting. The storyline with each Character gets you involved and just makes you want to play more and more. It's hard to get away from this game once you start, for sure!
Blazblue: Continuum Shift on Xbox 360 Buy it you won't regret it!

Excerpt: I'm sure you've all heard of Tekken and Street Fighter if you are into fighting games somewhat but I'm sure many of you havent heard of Blazblue. Blazblue is a fairly new game released by Arc System Works (known for other games like Guilty Gear,Battle Fantasia) Continuum Shift being the 2nd Blazblue release after Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. Blazblue has managed to pick up a much more serious way oof playing in comparative to others such as the likes of Tekken.
Pros: Fun, lots of characters, beginners welcome
Cons: May be hard for people new to fighters but with patience they can learn .
Summary: This is a great game. The characters are very charismatic, the gameplay is very good, the combos are hard and requires skill to get all the gaming experience that can be achieved. Without a doubt, one of the best fighting games to play and can be fully recommended to fans of the genre. Everything in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - Limited Edition (Xbox 360) is perfect: the cards of the characters, skills, information, art books extended ... everything has a very good finish.
Excerpt: BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is a strange game, one that seemingly doesn't care much if you don't play it. It even tries to actively ward off new players, with a completely incomprehensible plot delivered through a barely interactive story mode, a visual excess that seems designed to try and give the player an ocular seizure, completely overbearing sound and a tutorial that is as patronising as it is long. However, persevere and there's a fun game to found in here.
