Summary: The game is simple, fast, smooth with good voice acting and storyline. I find it to be a perfect blend of arcade/1st person shooter. There's nothing extraordinary about the game; it's a simple funtime shooter. Yes, it doesn't take long to get through the game but I picked up a used copy or $6 and it was worth it to me.
Summary: The game Blacksite: Area 51 seems like a sequel to the 2004 game, Area-51. But is far from it, the game is based on a squad that is sent to retrieve some information but later gets far fetched. The game has some great sound and graphics quality for a low-budget game like this. As much fun I had playing this, a lot of this began to get cliché and the game was a bit repetitive at times. The game ends up with you confronting both Humans and Aliens.
Summary: If you pick up Blacksite expecting innovation in your game play or something that completely steps out of the first person shooter box, prepare to be deeply disappointed. If you approach Blacksite looking for a game whose only value is to waste time between GOOD/GREAT game releases, then you're on the right track. The story isn't anything new. Aliens invade the US and it's your job to stop them.
Summary: +Fun shooter to kill time +you get to drive vehicles +Neat concept -That falls way short of expectations +'90s felling -'90s feeling -Thin story line that isn't exlpained well enough... you can piece it together... but it probably isn't worth it to try as you could make a better story to go along with the game play... or you could have a small child come up with a plot - seriously, the plot is pathetic -only 5 guns!?
Conclusion: Let me say it straight this game rocks! There are multiple blockbuster moments, like in the second level repete SECOND level, level 2! you kill two or 3 brumaks! The coolest part was when you take down a worm by cutting the arteries attached to it's three hearts THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is so much blood in that level!
Conclusion: I rented this game through the rental service Gamefly. To make a long story short; three days later I was returning it. Two words can sum up this game: Boring and Repetitive. Here's the formula for this game; fight, walk, fight, walk, fight, run. Then fight four more times. Its pathetic. You come up against hundreds of enemies using superior weaponry such as mortars, guns that fire thousands of rounds and literally tear your Cog to pieces. That's supposed to be fun?
Summary: Don't worry, this wont take much time ;) So I got this game pretty much because there was nothing else I wanted to play and it seemed kinda cool. Well as a whole, the game was just ok. It gave some enjoyment of running around and killing, but it was very limited in the variation of weapons and enemies. It seems like they just recycled the same enemies throughout different environments.
Summary: This is a typical FPS. In each level, the point of the game is to get from point A to point B. There are no specifics to each mission, there is very little to accomplish, nothing to gather, and there are virtually no goals. The objective is to "survive the enemies" and make it to each checkpoint, finishing each episode. There are a handful of bosses that are not that difficult to defeat. In general, enemies are not challenging, and the variety of enemies is lacking.
Summary: I was distraught after playing this game for a few hours. The game is dreadfully generic. This game is one of the more generic and ho-hum first person shooters ive played in a while. Its short and not very interesting. The game is not very fun and I just didnt get drawn into the story. Your a marine who is up against it all, havent heard that one in a few weeks. Overall if you find this game for 20 dollars I would buy it, but I payed 30 and I was dissapointed.
