Summary: after playing the first bioshock i was thinking about getting bioshock 2. im glad i got the demo otherwise i would have wasted my money. as many game series ive played this was probably the worst let down.
Summary: The outer box is heavily torn and rip apart and while everything inside the box is fine, the ripped up box doesn't boast well with a collector. I didn't feel it was necessary for a return because I purchased 2 copies and they were both like that.
Summary: people love both these games, and this was a pretty good deal, but i gotta say i think they're both way overated. the art direction and graphics on both games are fantastic, but the gameplay on both is tedious and boring
Summary: Despite the stellar reviews this game has received, I found it to be a rather generic, by the numbers imitation of the first Bioshock. The first Bioshock game was a perfect balance of substance, gameplay, and innovation. I loved playing the first game and when I wasn't playing it,I was thinking about playing it. I couldn't wait to see what was coming next. With this game I found that I just couldn't wait for it to end.
Summary: My verdict: If you like shooting things indiscriminately, you'll be happy. If you're here for a story as powerful and incredible as the first Bioshock, you'll be horribly disappointed. Special Edition Loved it all, especially the art book, the record, and the soundtrack. Great swag, very much worth it. The art of BioShock is incredible and fun and inspiring, and Garry Schyman's gorgeous score does not disappoint. (Check out "Pairbond," which is fabulous in particular.
Summary: Let me start off by saying this game has beautiful graphics and creepy sounds that sound awesome in digital surround. The story is so so, but is enough to keep you entertained when there is nothing else to play. The thing that disappoints me the most is the multiplayer. In the pre release articles and even on the back of the cover for the game they make it sound like the pre civil war rapture section of the game is going to be a co-op adventure kind of thing, which would...
Summary: I found it to be an alright game but I was actually wanting it to be finished as I got closer to the end. There are not as many different items to pick up in this one and things that were active in the first game appear to have been forgotten in this one and have just become background scenery. I know it takes place after the first one so the place has deteriorated more but in my opinion it deteriorated to the point the game was kind of "blah".
Excerpt: This game seemed to me, as a clone of the first one. The only real difference from the first bioshock are a few weapons, and your character is in a suit. after the first couple of hours of playing, it felt like a chore, purely because it felt too familiar. If you really loved the first one, then you may indeed like this one, but for me if felt all too familiar.
