Summary: One of the all time great franchises. I hadn't played the original Bioshock in years, and sold my original copy. I'd never played the sequel, so getting both for one low price was a slam dunk. Incredible storyline, creepy atmospherics, lots of fun. All of the bonus content DLC for both games is included, consisting of some extra challenges, and maps, but I wasn't really into anything but the basic campaign.
Old Gamer Reviews...........Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition
Burnt Halo 7, Amazon
21 August 2014
Summary: The visuals & sound effects are amazing, it really makes you feel like your in another time and place. The core game play is a first person shooter, but you acquire interesting ability that really modify the combat. There's a leveling up system for your ability similar to an RPG. This is great value at $20 for both Bioshock 1 & 2 with all the DLC. If you've been on the fence about buying this one, just do it!
Summary: As a casual gamer I look for games that capture my interest by story and game play of course and proudly to say Bioshock delivers! If anyone has played the first already knows its intriguing and genuine art style and for a 2007 game its fantastic. As well as its sequel. I played the first and fell for the awesome display of combat by using magic or (plasmids) as described in the game, and classic weaponry from the 50's, these do NOT disappoint.
Summary: Bioshock 2 takes you back to Rapture, except this time youre a Big Daddy. The atmosphere and scenery are more open feeling than the first game, combat is more frequent, and enemies are more tough in a good way. The story isnt as powerful as the first Bioshock or Infinite, BUT it doesnt take away from either while reminding us time never stands still. without giving away the story, just know its worth playing and experiencing.
