Summary: If you are obsessed with achievements such as myself, get this game especially for this price. It delivers fun gameplay, but the camera can be a hassle sometimes. Sometimes it's a bit challenging, but overall good game.
Summary: I absolutely love the LEGO series of games and own all but two of them. Naturally I thought this game would be in a similar vein. Truth be told it is similar but not nearly up to the quality of the others, in all respects. The graphics aren't great but are passable. The controls are weak but managable. Gameplay is thin but mildy satisfying. Adults will likely find this game boring after a few hours but I imagine kids will eat it up.
Summary: This game is a cheap knock-off of the LEGO STAR WARS games. The third person perspective is shoddy, and the camera work was pretty bad. It is sometimes hard to figure out where you're going. Once you get the controls down it's not a difficult game. I liked the upgrading, but it was easy to get all characters to their most powerful upgrades. There are a lot of unlockables including characters.
Bionicle Heroes (Xbox 360): Stick with other Lego games!
7 August 2009
Summary: Bionicle Heroes is a Lego action game for the Xbox 360 console developed by Travellers Tales. The story of Bionicle heroes was very unintelligible for me, you start off on an island gain the power of some elemental masks and the game begins. It is meant to tie in the the Bionicle stories but as I am unfamiliar with those I don't know how faithful this is.
Cons: Repetitive, boring, story is poor, bad graphics
Conclusion: Tedious beyond belief. I note a couple of reviews below stating this game is good for kids. NO IT'S NOT. There are so many better games out there for kids... Any of the Lego Star Wars games for starters. This game though is repetitive beyond belief and the graphics are last-gen.
