  • Summary: Solid writing and interesting gimmicks can't save this game from being little more than a Gears of War retread, though not for lack of effort

  • Conclusion: Final Verdict: The campaign is worth playing at least once, but the generic multiplayer lowers the replay value.

  • Conclusion: Summary: Good + Great graphics and sound. + A mixture of gears of war and vanquish (Gears of Vanquish). + Zombie robots. Bad - Some stale voice acting. - Not the most original. - So underrated. Overall I think this is a great game that should of been noticed from the start. I give this game an 8/10.

Binary Domain Review

PlayDevil
15 March 2012
  • Summary: " Binary Domain " deserves to be a success. It’s a solid game, that despite an occasional Japanese quirk, and some dull multiplayer, adds a lot to the genre. The voice commands, whilst occasionally shaky, and lacking Kinect support are at least an interesting proposition, whilst the story and...

GameSpot
5 March 2012
  • Summary: What if you lived in a world where robots were as prevalent as humans? You'd see them every day--in the street, at your workplace, in the coffee shop--made to mimic the human figure but easily identifiable as machines.
  • Pros: Robot enemies break apart in diverse and gratifying ways, Characters and dialogue are appealing, Thoughtful environmental detail, Amusing command/dialogue mechanic
  • Cons: Mundane multiplayer suffers lag, Voice commands don't always register

  • Conclusion: Binary Domain is a fantastic third-person shooter that'll be criminally overlooked, when it deserves to hold its head high among some of the best in the genre. The game's trust system, arsenal of weaponry and narrative are all excellent, and we hope that the game's conclusion, which has oodles of...

  • Excerpt: I’m quite partial to Toshihiro Nagoshi’s colourful game making history, so it was a rare and seemingly baseless moment of doubt that occurred when Binary Domain was first announced.

Binary Domain

inthegame.nl
19 April 2015
