Summary: I am afraid I did not finish this game, whilst I did find the initial game play entertaining with some God of war style bad ass violence. I found I became quickly bored with the repetitive game play and sequences.
Summary: Honestly this game was super disappointing to me. It felt monotonous after about 15 minutes. It doesn't bring much more to the table after that. I only kept playing the game for the achievements, sadly.
Not bad, but Beowulf is not as good as it could have been.

Excerpt: My Purchase. I bought this game as it was said to be another simple single player movie tie-in game, it was not very expensive to purchase either which always helps when I am choosing games, the current online price for this game is about £5 upwards for still new copies of this game. The Game.
Summary: This game is a classic example of one thrown together simply for a movie tie in. Zero thought has gone into it and it exists purely in the vain hope that it will attract some sales. The game is a mix of hack 'n' slash and quick time events. Think of a very poor God Of War.
Excerpt: Beowulf is an action game based on the CG movie starring Ray Winston, will this violent action film make a smooth transition to video game form? The games story follows that of the film which is based off the ancient poem.
Pros: Diverse soorten omgevingen, soms mooie omgevingen
Cons: Wapens te snel kapot, verouderde graphics, besturing kon beter, weinig vijanden
