Summary: This game come out after the Beijing Olympics Ended, I decided to buy it and check it out, and today I still don't know if that was a good thing to do? The reasons why I rate this game 5 Stars for the graphics and the fact that it was the newer Olympic game than the PS2 2004 version which was harder, and reasons for no body giving it a 5 star, after 4 years, but not really hard to believe, let me explain!
Summary: I like this game a lot, but it can get kind of frustrating when first learning how to do some of the different events. I love the variety of events. There are a ton of different events from track, field, swimming, gymnastics, shooting, and others!
Summary: Beijing olympics is one of the best game i have evr played it is a great challenge but thats the fun of the game it challenges you and really gets you into the game because nobody likes a game that is to easy. One of the specific hard parts of the game is running it is hard when you first start but a you progress it gets easier but not to easy you might get frustrated a little bit but it will be worth getting frustrated you only get frustrated because of the challenge...
Summary: I was born to be part of the olympics in some way and this game is better than the 96 summer games for sega genesis, the 98 Nagano winter games for n64, the 94 Lillehammer winter games for sega genesis and the 2000 sydney summer olympics for dreamcast. It is a challenge the first day, but the tutorials come in handy when you think that you're in for the frustration of your life. I hope one day they come out with all the games possible on a single game.
Summary: I just picked up this game and absolutely love it! It's very challenging yet easy enough to at least be competitive the very first day you pick it up. There are 35 or so events which will keep you busy for many hours. The online is fantastic, the graphics are pretty good and the creative button combinations to complete each event is great.
Beijing 2008 (Xbox 360): Beijing 2008 : Gold Medal Gaming
10 June 2009
Summary: I own Beijing 2008 for the PS3 and I think it is absolutely brilliant. I am a fan of most sports and I bought this game simply because it was the Olympics last year. There have been a distinc lack of athletics game which I feel is a shame and not since Track and Field on the PS1 has there been a decent title but this is the best. The game basically does what it says on the case.
Pros: Everything you would expect and more
Cons: Can result in very sore hands from continual play

Excerpt: THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE THIS GAME ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE RUBBISH AT BUTTON PUSHING. EXCELLENT GAME FOR A OLMPICS. GRAHPICS ARE GOOD, EVENTS TAKE A TIME TO GET USED TOO, DIFFERENT WAYS AND STYLES OF BUTTON PUSHING. ITS ALOT HARDER THAN PREVIOUS ONES BUT WITH A BIT OF PRACTICE YOU CAN BREAK ALL THE RECORDS LIKE I HAVE, BUT BE PREPARED FOR A DEAD ARM.
Conclusion: If you love a good button bashing game, then this is the one for you. A wide range of events so you will more than likely be good at one of them. It is one of the best games to play when you have your friends round as it gives you something to brag about for days ( if you win ) and gives you something to laugh at if one of you is too good at it. The achievements are very good as you actually have to be good at the game to get them.
Conclusion: this game is great for the people with fast hand movement i rated it 5 stars because i think that it is very realistic unlike the athens 2004 but if you have slow hand movement its not the game for you
