Summary: This game did bring back memories from the old track and field game. Some things on this game that could of made it better, but I won't complain. I find this game fun, hard and plenty of events to choose from to keep busy and to break records. I definitely recommend this game to anyone that love button mashing games or the track and field game in the 80's.
Summary: This game overall is pretty good. Their are some things that they could have impoved on like the controls definitly. The characters in the game look good and you can even choose which characters you would like to use in the game. The presentations in the game are also a good feature they introduce everyone competing and at the end announce the winners with thier home countries athem. I would say if you want a sports game that you can keep playing this is a good buy.
Conclusion: First thing I will say to you, have you've ever played Track and Field at the arcade in the 80's or the Xbox Live arcade version? Do you remember mashing those buttons to make the player go fast to get the best times? Well this game is going to bring back those memories again. This game does have 38 events and most of these events are hard to do and to master. So don't think you'll going to blow the competition like it's nothing.
Summary: THIS GAME is difficult the first few times you play but if you keep trying you will eventually figure it out. the controls use the right stick alot and that is very challenging. some games are easy most of the events are very difficult. the running is challenging because you A and B or u can use the right or left sticks wich make it very challenging. the shooting and archery are very realistic, and are also fun to play.
Conclusion: Beijing 2008 seems to be this year's official videogame for the anticipated Summer Olympics held in the Chinese city of Beijing.Like any other sport videogame,it spans across numerous amounts of activities and minigames that can be accessed via a new system of gameplay or through the regular options that are avaliable on the screen.
Excerpt: Beijing 2008 is made by sega, you can play it on any of the following (xbox 360, ps3 pc and on you mobile phone.) Its aimed at any person over the ages of 3 and above i think taht this is stupid and should be 12 and above because the game is much to hard for anyone under the age of 12. I am fifteen and some of the events are even to hard for me and i am a experienced game player.
Conclusion: I have played this game with my brother for a while, and I have to admit, I enjoy it very much! Whilst I do admit that waggling your sticks like crazy does eventually result in some painful blisters, it is still a very entertaining game, with some very interesting events.

Excerpt: This game works great as a multiplayer with mates on and offline. Presentation is great, graphics, sound, commentary. Whilst there is a variation on the buttons required for each event, it's not varied enough, and using the same controls (particularly for long events) is monotonous and tiring. For a quick dash like the 100m or even 110m hurdles I can live with it but it needs breaking down a bit for the 400m for example.
